This dog is an inspiration, as is the writer! Having worked at an animal shelter for 15 years, I have some memorable animals who have become permanent members of my heart. I have three cats, at this time, and each of the nine cats that have shared their lives with me and made very permanent contributions to my life. Thank you for sharing Codi with me, on a very special day for the author and for me.
