This dog is an inspiration, as is the writer! Having worked at an animal shelter for 15 years, I have some memorable animals who have become permanent members of my heart. I have three cats, at this time, and each of the nine cats that have shared their lives with me and made very permanent contributions to my life. Thank you for sharing Codi with me, on a very special day for the author and for me.

I believe animals have souls! Chances are they aren't as evolved as humans (but this depends on the animal in question... it's possible some are MORE evolved; whales and dolphins come to mind) ... I also believe that animals who share love and close bond with humans experience soular evolution through that experience, just as we do through ours. Animals are so precious! They've just been short-changed by us dense bipeds. Things are changing as we wake up... this book will surely help!
