Chances are they aren't as evolved as humans (but this depends on the animal in question... it's possible some are MORE evolved; whales and dolphins come to mind) ... I also believe that animals who share love and close bond with humans experience soular evolution through that experience, just as we do through ours. Animals are so precious!
